Ashlee Simpson and Victoria's Secret

After rumors of Ashlee Simpson being the model for a new line of lingerie from Victoria's Secrets, a spokesperson for the singer has come in to clarify the story. Apparently Ashlee will not be their model, but instead will be playing in New York at their Pajama Party when the new line is released. Personally, I am pretty disappointed that we won't all get to see her modeling the new wear.

Down With Playboy, Up with Victoria's Secret

Just a little over a week after Ashlee Simpson rejected a $4 million offer to pose nude in an issue of Playboy, the singer will soon be announcing that she will be the front model for Victoria's Secret's upcoming line of lingerie, called Pink. Simpson beat Kelly Clarkson out for the spot. The Pink line is supposed to be a younger, 'cuter', lingerie as they try to reach out to more customers. Likely the younger, 'cuter' girls that are most of Ashlee's fans. Personally, I can't wait to see what it looks like!

Ashlee Simpson Discusses Playboy Offer

Ashlee Simpson recently spoke with the New York Times about why she rejected Playboy's offer to pose nude in their magazine. She told the Times "I can make $4 million somewhere else. My body is for me and for whoever my love interest is at that moment, and that's the only person who gets to see it." It must be nice to be in a position where you can say 'I can make $4 million somewhere else.' Although she could have done it for her fans, who I'm sure would have supported her!

Ashlee Simpson's New Crib?

The latest rumor on the West Coast is that Ashlee Simpson may be moving in with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Braxton Olita, is the guitar player in her band and rumors about these two started a while back. Back in the day, Olita had to spend his nights on tour in the band trailer, but that is certainly not the case today. On tour he shacks up in Ashlee's personal trailer, and off tour it looks like they may be living together full time. Ashlee Simpson has yet to comment on the issue.

Ashlee Simpson Defends Father

After hearing reports that her father, Joe Simpson, is in charge of both her and sister Jessica's career, Ashlee Simpson has publicly stated that this is indeed not the case. Apparently, dad cannot even step into the studio until Ashlee gives him the ok. Ashlee said "(Sister) Jessica (Simpson) and I are very much our own individuals. I'll make my record and not invite him into the studio until I invite him. Sure, he'll have an opinion but if I'm like, 'No, I want that song to be on my record' he'll be like 'All right, baby, you got it!'" I wonder what her dad's thoughts were on the Playboy offer?

Ashlee Simpson Courted by Playboy

Our beloved Ashlee Simpson was reported asked to pose for the famous magazine, Playboy. He publicist, Rob Shuter, confirmed reports yesterday that she was indeed offered $4 million to pose nude but she has declined. That is quite an offer, but I guess when you are already fairly rich you can get by without the extra money. I must say that I am impressed with Ashlee's decision and am now a bigger fan than ever. Ashlee is now on tour in promoting her most recent album I Am Me.

Recently, Ashlee Simpson has done a great deal to change her appearance. After a few weeks of rumors and speculation, she has admitted to having a nose job. Not too many complaining about that change as she looks pretty damn good now. A little earlier, she had decided to change her hairstyle from the goth-ish black to a new blonde look. Some questioned this move as she has always been the 'smart one' between her and her sister, Jessica. But there are some parts of her that she doesn't want to change.

Ashlee Simpson recently discussed with the media just how fond she is of her breasts (she probably isn't the only one that likes them!). She told reporters "I love my boobs. My sister Jessica grew up having a larger chest. Men love it and stare at it, but she needs to wear two sports bras to even play volleyball." Well I for one hope that she enjoys her volleyball as much as she seems to enjoy her boobs.

Ashlee Simpson's New Boxing Career

Ashlee Simpson's latest music video, for her new hit song Invisible, has the pop star portraying a boxer. Ok, so the title may have been a little misleading, but Simpson has told the press that they were given boxing lessons before the video shoot to make it look real. Whether Ashlee's boxing looks real or not is still up for debate. Check out the video of Invisible now and decide for yourself.

Unfortunatlely for Ashlee, the boxing was all fun and games, or even acting. Ashlee says that she took a few hard jabs in her chin during shooting. Obviously these are chalked up to mistakes by the other dances and actors in the Invisible video.

Ashlee says that the video was inspired by the movie Million Dollar Baby. I'm not exactly sure if her video will have the same impact on viewers as the movie, but its nice that she is trying to spread a friendly message!

Ashlee Simpson's New Nose

I think that the only person that doesn't know that Ashlee Simpson had a nose job, is Ashlee Simpson herself. She has been asked about the new nose in numerous interviews and continues to avoid answering the questions, just giggling like a school girl.

I will be the first person to admit that Ashlee's new nose looks great, but what bothers me is that she is out there calling herself a role model for girls everywhere then does something like this! Newsflash Ashlee, most girls that look up to you can't just go out and buy themselves a beautiful nose.

Is this maybe a question of a little jealousy over Jessica's looks? I'm not going to say that it is, but that is certainly possible.
